a month agoYellow Submarine is a casual, no-frills Korean spot serving classic dishes, ramen, subs, wings, fried food, and bubble tea. The wings were hot, fresh, and well priced, and we appreciated the 10% military discount. Service was friendly, but be ready to order since the person at the counter also works in the kitchen. A nice touch was getting an extra wing (7 instead of 6), which really meant a lot to us. We enjoyed our meal and would gladly come back.

3 months agoStopped in and was pleasantly surprised. Ordered a chicken Philly and man the fries were on point. Food was quick, fresh and delicious. Interior was yellow (shocker i know). They also operate like a small bodega amd sell lottery tickets, cigarettes and stuff.

4 months agoI've come in and gotten the catfish platter, along with the bulgogi here! Both times, the food was fresh and tasty, with great service! The catfish was PERFECT!! No bones left in and not too salty or greasy. It was honestly the best catfish I'd had in a while. The beef bulgogi is a GENEROUS portion, and has an amazing flavor! This is one of the best spots in Newport News, highly reccomend!

6 months agoVery clean, very fast, fresh crispy wings. I’ve only had the soy garlic. On my 30 min lunch I’m able to place my order. Go pick up and eat

6 months agoI had a beef bulgogi sub combo and it was incredible. The staff was very friendly and I had my to go order quickly. The portion was large and I had half for lunch and the other half for dinner. Kpop was playing on the tv inside so I was entertained while I waited. They also had a diy ramen area and imported food products that I look forward to trying in the future.

a year ago2.5 / 5 ⭐️ The wings I got here were good. My husband only ate a little of his beef bulgogi. He said he wasn’t a big fan. I’m not the biggest fan of Korean food, but I do always love the wings. It just didn’t hit the spot how I wanted. Decent food, but I’m sure I’d recommend.
